Foundation Study in Project Monitoring and Evaluation

Description

This Foundation certificate program is designed for recent college graduates, current graduate students and working professionals who currently are looking for entry level opportunities in the field of Project Monitoring & Evaluation but do not have formal training in results based monitoring and evaluation. All applicants should have attained an undergraduate degree or Higher National Diploma degree from an accredited institution. Working experience including National Service is highly desirable.
Team Projects are focused on Designing a Monitoring and Evaluation Plan for a project – Project Objectives, Theory of Change, Selecting Performance Indicators, Data Collection and Analysis (Google forms) & reporting.

  • Module 3 – 10-Steps to Building a Results Based M&E System – Part 1
  • Module 4 – 10-Steps to Building a Results Based M&E System – Part 2
  • Module 5 – Evaluation Data Collection Methods I – Questionnaires design
  • Module 6 – Statistics for Evaluators – Descriptive Statistics, Sampling
  • Module 7 – Designing and Implementing Performance Monitoring Plans
  • Module 8 – Team Presentations of Group Projects
  • Module 9 – USAID/MEASURE Assessment Certificate
